The official register of Europe's medicines supply chain (EMA EudraGMDP) turned into a table: who may manufacture, import, store and distribute medicines, which factories and warehouses passed their inspection and which did not. For sales, procurement, quality and pharma logistics teams that today look the register up record by record.
Quick answer: WDA and MIA licences, GMP and GDP certificates, failed inspections and active ingredient registrations from the EMA EudraGMDP register, with official company and site IDs, for EEA countries and third-country factories. Samples of 100 documents and 100 sites in CSV and JSON; delivered via Apify, API or S3.
Five document types cover the whole chain: from active ingredient supplier to factory, and from warehouse to pharmacy.
What EudraGMDP is. In Europe nobody can make or move medicines without a licence from their national authority (AEMPS in Spain, regional authorities in Germany…). Those authorities inspect factories and warehouses and publish the result in one shared database run by the European Medicines Agency: EudraGMDP. In practice it is the official business register of the medicines supply chain.
Why as data. The official website lists documents ten at a time with no export. Rastriq's two actors read the EMA's public website with at most two parallel requests and return one table with the same schema for every country, ready for Excel, a CRM or BI.
| Document | What it means | Who holds it |
|---|---|---|
| WDA | Wholesale distribution authorisation | Wholesalers, logistics operators, warehouses |
| MIA | Manufacturing or import authorisation | Manufacturers and importers |
| GMP | Good Manufacturing Practice certificate after inspection (GMPC = passed, GMPNC = non-compliance) | Factories, inside and outside the EEA |
| GDP | Good Distribution Practice certificate: storage, temperature and traceability | Warehouses and distributors |
| API-REG | Registration to make, import or trade active ingredients | Active ingredient suppliers |
Every row also carries the official company (ORG-…) and site (LOC-…) IDs assigned by the EMA, and the link to the official record.
Three extracts from real runs of both actors, launched from saved tasks. The 100-row public samples download without signing up.

Real rows from the "cold-chain distributors in Germany" task (WDA with full licence details). Special products arrive as the authority publishes them: 2–8 °C cold chain, immunologicals, blood products, narcotics or medical gases.

Real rows from the "GMP inspections of non-EEA sites" task: plants in China, Canada, Brazil, Bangladesh or Argentina inspected by European authorities. GMPNC is a non-compliance; _flags warnings label rows, they never filter them.

Real rows from the "Spain pharma sites database" task (EU Pharma Sites Graph): one row per building with all its documents grouped and ready-made yes/no answers to filter on.
No personal data. The source hides names and signatures as "Confidential" and the actors never collect them. In this site's samples we also exclude holders that are sole traders.
Each task answers a common business question in a single run.

Both actors share the same schema across all countries. The scope and nonComplianceDetails fields are filled when full licence details are switched on.
Choose between running the actors yourself, receiving the register on a recurring basis or commissioning a custom project.
Yes. It comes from EudraGMDP, the EMA database fed by national competent authorities, and every row links to its official record. The EMA accepts no liability for the content: questions about a document go to the issuing authority.
EudraGMDP Pharma Registry returns one row per document and covers failed GDP inspections and certificate dates in bulk. EU Pharma Sites Graph returns one row per site with all its documents grouped and yes/no signals.
Yes. With "only changes" mode and a scheduled run, for example weekly, you get only new or changed documents. It is the basis for an alert on non-compliances or new licences.
Choose wholesale distributors (WDA), switch on licence details and filter the special-requirement products field: cold chain, immunologicals and vaccines, blood products, narcotics or radiopharmaceuticals.
No. The source hides names and signatures and the actors never collect them; they are flagged with confidential_fields. The data describes companies, sites and regulatory documents.
