CONTEXT

## What the MHRA publishes

The MHRA publishes on gov.uk a single CSV with the new licences of the last 12 months, replaced every month.

**What gets lost.** Older licences drop off the list without notice, the file link changes every month and there is no change feed. The actor keeps those that leave the window (`in_current_list = false`, `aged_out`) and in Delta mode returns only the new ones.

**What it is not.** It is the official list of new licences, not the full register of holders: it does not report suspensions or revocations, and `aged_out` is not a revocation.

### How often does the source change?

Once a month, usually in the first week. A weekly Delta also works and charges no rows when the file has not changed.

### Is this the full MHRA register?

No. It is the official list of new licences of about 12 months; the full GMDP register is not covered.

### Can I recover licences from before my first run?

No: the history builds up from your first run. Licences that left before cannot be recovered.

### Under what licence can it be reused?

The MHRA publishes the list under the Open Government Licence v3.0, which allows commercial reuse with attribution.

### Why are some company names empty?

Because the holder looks like a person; city and postcode district are kept.
